Let's take a walk down Flower Carpet rose lane...
You may remember my post about planting three Flower Carpet roses I received in the mail from Your Easy Garden. Well, they've come along MORE than swimmingly in the last two months, and I'm proud to say they are some of my favorite plants in our garden.
All situated on the south side of our house; they receive full sun. Two of them are in containers, and one in the ground near our foundation.

Flower Carpet - Amber is by far my favorite. The color and light scent are divine. Scarlet is a show stopper. You can see her from the street. I like to think our neighbors drive by extra slow to peep at her. Supreme, well... as you can see, she is heavenly next to my catmint.
If you've never tried Flower Carpet roses, I highly, HIGHLY suggest you do. Low risk, high reward. Preforms very well in containers.
Happy Tuesday, Garden Friends!
How smart of you to put them in containers! I love Flower Carpet roses, but I don't have any of these. Supreme is so pretty, especially paired with that purple companion.
ReplyDeleteHi Holley! I really hope these little buggers make it through my winter. I put the two in containers because they are zone 5 and my zone 4 gets colder every year. Supreme is the guinea pig... rouge foundation rose.
DeleteHappy Tuesday to you too! I am loving your roses and will have to put Carpet roses on my list!!! Gorgeous colors happening here!!! I am so excited that you popped by my blog!! I look forward to coming along with you on this journey!! Happy Gardening lady!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicole! Much appreciated. Hope you and your family have a good weekend.
DeleteSo are the ones in containers everblooming? All my roses are big bushy guys and ramblers. I'm going to have to think about these carpet roses ...
ReplyDeleteHi Jason - Yes, they are considered everblooming AND self cleaning. I do faithfully clip the dead pieces off though. Just don't like looking at them. Call me crazy.
