Hi Shon - Tulips are usually a spring blooming bulb. The first windy and rainy day (about 2 weeks after my tulips bloomed) the petals were already blown away. I will leave them until the foliage dies back and then dig them up and dry them for the fall. Next year I plan for even more! :)
