@Gardens - I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's some type of Tillandsia (ephiphytic Bromeliad).
Can anyone else ID it?! I took that photo at the Walker Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis, and it was part of a larger (ugly) display of other air plants.
