Beating the Winter Blues

There's a big snow storm a brewin' for Sunday night, so Workerman and I thought we'd head over to the conservatory to get our tropical on before getting swathed in another round of the Winter Blahs.

Enjoy these few snaps from our day!

**The Winter Flower Show (rotating exhibition) is going on right now in the Sunken Garden. It's pretty darn spectacular. I suggest you check it out if you live in the area. Click here for the Conservatory's YouTube Video about the show. The flowers run until March 17th.

  1. Pretty spectacular! Lots of lovely things but I particularly like the frilly pansy.

    1. Yes! Of all the gorgeous specimens there, that tiny little pansy was my favorite. I love the yolk-colored center.

    1. We aren't sure what that one was, as we couldn't find the marker. Up close those tiny things look like orchids. One of the most fascinating plants - for sure.
