Special Delivery Ed. 2

This also came today. If you're looking for a nice gift, give some Botanical Interests seeds. They come packaged so prettily. You could just pick out the seeds and have them directly sent to the recipient. What a fun little package to get on this cold, cold day.

Having worked as a designer for many years, I was drawn to their product immediately. Well done, Botanical Interests!

Since I got so much fun stuff today (and had to be a loud mouth posting about all of it) I wanted to tell everyone that I'm not paid to do this. I just like the stuff, photographing it, and sharing snippets of my Garden World with the Internet.

And I'm positive you'll believe me... seeing as I only have 4 followers. One of whom is probably my mother.

Waa waa!

  1. That does make a pretty presentation. And I see that you have the poppy 'Lauren's Grape'. I grew it last year and saved the seeds. I hope it returns. It is such a pretty color and the bees love it. Happy Bloom Day!

    1. Hi Dorothy,

Do you have any photos of your poppy? I searched your blog but couldn't find any. I'd love to see what it looked like in your garden.

Here's to crossing our fingers in hopes that your's return... and mine germinate! :)

  2. Time to scatter seeds! If you're worried about tiny perennials from mail order, grow from seeds. It just takes longer but for the price of one plant you could have a whole row.

    1. Hi NellJean,

That's great advice, and I might just try that for my picks if I can find the same seeds. Do you have any favorite seed catalogs you could recommend?

    1. Completely agree. I'll be giving some seeds to a colleague/fellow gardener for her birthday. I hope she enjoys them as much as we do!

  4. I love botanical interest, in my opinion they are one of the best seed companies out there. They are reasonably priced too, unlike some others and the quality is excellent. I think it's neat how they come in a little box with tissue paper in it too. I have ordered from them for about 3 years now and they are amazing.

    1. Hi Bryce,

I spied on your blog and saw a few BI packets in your Seed Starting 101 Post. Anything you especially like from them?

  5. I'm tickled to have so many comments on one post. The ding! of my Android alert now sends me into a flying tizzy... searching for my phone to see what's going on with my blog.

I finally figured out how to reply to every comment. Phew! Technologies! Brain exploding.

  6. Seed packets do make nice gifts. My brother and I are both avid gardeners and we don't like spending lots of money on gifts. OK, we're cheap. So we often exchange seed packets for birthdays, etc.

And don't worry about not having lots of followers. The more you write, and the longer you're out there, the more readers you will attract. In the meantime, keep checking out other garden blogs that are out there. And does your blog automatically send a link to your facebook friends?
